Tiffany Renee Darwish was born on October 2, 1971 in Norwalk, California to parents James Darwish and Janie Wilson. Tiffany's parents divorced when she was very young.
Tiffany started singing at the age of four after she learned the words to the song, "Delta Dawn." In 1977, Tiffany's mother married Dan Wilson and her half sister, Falicia was born in 1979. Tiffany made her professional debut in 1981 singing with a country music band at a country\western spot. She toured in Nashville, Tennessee and Alaska.
In 1983, Tiffany's second half-sister, Charessa was born. Ronald Kent Surut was made Tiffany's manager the same year.
Tiffany was signed to a recording contract in 1984 by George Tobin. She appeared on Star Search, but came in second place. Tiffany signed to MCA records and released her debut album in 1987.
Tiffany's song, "I Think We're Alone Now" was a successful hit on the Billboard charts and she started touring shopping malls. In 1988, Tiffany wanted to be come an emancipated minor, but it was rejected; but her grandma became her temporary guardian.
Tiffany's second album, "Hold An Old Friend's Hand" was not a successful hit. In 1990, Tiffany did the voice of Judy Jetson in "Jetsons: The Movie."
She released her third album, "New Inside" in 1990, but it failed to make the charts.
Tiffany gave birth to son Elijah in 1992. She released her fourth album, "Dreams Never Die", but it never was released in the United States. She tried to become a country singer, but she never released any country music. Tiffany's comeback album, "The Color of Silence" was released in 2000 and received positive and stellar reviews. Tiffany posed for Playboy Magazine in 2002.
