Elite® Announce ʽJet Set Willyʼ - for Apple iPhone / iPod Touch & iPad - TV-Out / Keyboard Support Coming Soon

Elite Systems, the long established UK based developer and electronic publisher of games for portable, mobile and other devices has announced the launch of “Jet Set Willy” - Matthew Smithʼs ʽsignatureʼ ZX Spectrum game from 1984 - as stand-alone Apps for all iOS devices.

A major feature of the Apps (which are expected to go live on the iTunes App Store w/c 14th February and will at a later date be offered as an in-app purchase within the ZX Spectrum: Elite Collection / HD apps) is the support (either at launch, or in the first update) for TV-out on iPhone 4, 4thGeneration iPod Touch and iPad. (Requires, separately sold, Apple TV-Out Component Cable or Apple VGA Adapter, or 100% compatible).

Και επιτελους ο μεγας Matthew Smith τσιμπαει κανα φραγκο! Τα Manic Miner και JSW πουλανε πολυ καλα μεσα στο iStore (οπως και ολα τα υπολοιπα Spectrum games - τυχαιο? δεν νομιζω!)

Τα παιχνιδια τα επαιξε κανεις να μας πει τι λενε τα controls?

αν η τιμή είναι καλή θα πουλήσει και στα 1.59 δεν υπάρχει λογική έξηγηση να μην πουλήσει. Στο AppStore προς το παρόν δεν υπάρχει η πειρατια που υπάρχει αλλού οπότε οι λογικές τιμές είναι συνταγές επιτυχίας.

Ps: απο που πήρε το σακάκι ο νέος;

Τι να πουνε τα controls? Τρία κουμπιά είναι όλα κι όλα δεν χρειάζεται virtual joystick. Και έχει ένα κολπάκι που τα μεγαλώνεις/μικραίνεις όσο θέλεις ώστε να μη σου πιάνουν πολύ χώρο στην οθόνη αν και έτσι κι αλλιώς χρησιμοποιεί την μισή στο iPad. Δεν το έχω δει στο iPhone.

Στην οθόνη του iPod touch 4th gen είναι εκπληκτικό. Μόλις το κατέβασα.

Να το έβλεπε κάποιος αυτό το 1985. Θα πάθαινε ταράκουλο!

Σε iPad θα περιμένω να πω γνώμη στις 26 του μηνός που θα έχω το iPad II στα χέρια μου!

Μακάρι να είχε Atic-Atac και Sabre Wolf ρε .............

Ultimate μην περιμένεις να δεις δυστυχώς με την Rare να ανήκει στην Microsoft. Σιγά μην τα κυκλοφορήσει σε πλατφόρμα της Apple.

Tελικα δεν ειναι του Smith

ʽWillyʼs Great Adventureʼ for the ZX Spectrum is authorised by Matthew Smith, author of ʽManic Minerʼ and Jet Set Willyʼ. ʽWillyʼs Great Adventure: ZX Spectrumʼ will be available from the iTunes App Store, from the Google Play Store and for Amazon Kindle Fire / HD on Friday 28th June, 2013 and after for Windows Phone 8 & Windows 8.
ʽWillyʼs Great Adventureʼ was developed by Terry Lloyd in 1985, as an homage to Matthew Smithʼs ʽMiner Willyʼ games. ʽWillyʼs Great Adventureʼ has not previously been released and is believed to be otherwise unknown, until offered to Elite (in an email at 9:50am on 12th July 2012) for publication.

“I can confirm it has never seen the light of day. Unless someone stole it off my computer and put it out there without me knowing {:~). Iʼve been playing it through again myself to test it, and I have to say I think itʼs one of the most complete and totally customized mods out there (in terms of all new rooms, tiles and sprites). Although there are some other good ones Iʼve played, a lot of them keep the original graphics and just have new rooms, while some change the graphics but the rooms and map are very similar to the original. Whereas, WGA changed about 98% of the original stuff (Willy even has a new hat, an Indy style adventurerʼs Fedora).” – Terry.

Tα καλα νεα ειναι οτι το παιχνιδι το εχει γραψει ο Terry Lloyd (Trailblazer,Rick Dangerous,Switchblade κτλ) και οτι τελικα θα δουμε παιχνιδι απο τον Matthew Smith στο μελλον.
