Για οποιον ενδιαφερεται για composite se 48/+ απλουστευμενα(απο WOS):

Open the Spectrum up, take off the keyboard and lay it down as you would normally have it if you were using it. Make sure it's not plugged in (obvious but some people might not bother to disconnect).

I drilled a small hole on the left hand side of the modulator to fit the cable through so I could close the Spectrum up afterwards.

I assume you know where the modulator is. What I did is to find a yellow cable which normally connects to the video socket on an AV input for a TV. Cut off the end which does not connect to the TV so that you have at one end a connection and the other bare wire.

Cut off about 1/2 inch of the plastic covering to reveal the shielding and the wire inside the shielding. Pull the shielding to one side and the wire to the other.

Looking at the modulator there are two wires coming out of the left hand side. Solder the shielding to the modulator and the wire to the wire nearest the back of the Spectrum.

Basically thats it, as I said it's very easy cos I can do it. Just remember to only have the soldering iron touching the Spectrum for a second or nasty things may happen.

Το βρίσκω λίγο επίφοβο anesti να ανοίξω ένα Spectrum, γιατί έχουν μεγάλο πρόβλημα οι μεμβράνες τους...Είναι τόσο ευαίσθητες που μπορεί να χαλάσουν με το άνοιγμα και μόνο! Έχω χαλάσει και τους δυο ΖΧ+ από αυτό το πράγμα.

Αν και έχω μαζέψει αρκετό υλικό επάνω σε μετατροπές κτλ εξακολουθώ να είμαι πολύ επιφυλακτικός φίλε μου...Τώρα έχω ακόμα ένα 48αρι γομολάστιχα ο οποίος δουλεύει τέλεια και δεν τον πειράζω!!!Πάντως εξακολουθώ να περιμένω αν θα κάνεις κάποια παραγγελία

να κάνουμε μαζί...Θα παραγγείλω πολύ πράμα από μεμβράνες φίλε!!!Είναι πολύ άσχημο να έχεις δυο τσίλικους ιστορικούς ΖΧ+ και να μην μπορείς να τους χαρείς… :icon_cry:

akmakas έχεις δίκιο φίλε μου να φοβάσαι να ανοίξεις το Speccy σου αλλά δυστυχώς οι μεμβράνες χαλάνε ακόμα και όταν δεν χρησιμοποιείς τον Spectrum σου. To 48αρι rubbered keyed μην σκεφθείς να το ανοίξεις αν δεν το έχεις ξανά κάνει στο παρελθόν. Για μεμβράνες δε με βλέπω να χρειαστώ σύντομα μιας και όλα έχουν καινούργιες αλλά χρησιμοποιώ κυρίως έναν +2 και έναν +3 και επειδή περιμένουν και πολλοί άλλοι στα κουτιά τους έχω εξασφαλίσει το μέλλον μου ώστε να αποφύγω όσο το δυνατόν περισσότερο τους emulators.

Anyway, πίσω στο θέμα υπήρχε ένα εξωτερικό interface που έβγαζε RGB από 48K δεν το έχω αλλά νομίζω ότι κυκλοφορούν κάπου τα schematics. Θα το ψάξω. αλλά σου λέω πως απλά βγάζω ένα καλωδιάκη χωρίς να τρυπήσω δίπλα από το modulator που καταλήγει σε θηλυκό RCA και δίνει composite. Κάποιο παλικάρι πριν από χρόνια στο WOS μου είχε απαντήσει δίνοντας μου και έναν κυκλοματάκι για EGA monitors (Δεν είχα ποτέ μου και ούτε βρήκα κιόλας)…

Αυτά τα ολίγα για την ώρα…

Ο spectrum + μου σε RF δεν ειναι κεντραρισμενος και βγαζει καποια patterns οποτε του τραβηξα μια εγχειριση και του εβγαλα composite.

Παρολο που η εικονα τωρα ειναι καπως καλυτερη,τα προβληματα παραμενουν
