Hi together,

I decided to create a standalone app for CPCPaint.

It contains a invisible CPC emulation
rolleyes.gif

You can use it to pixel CPC screens and/or convert the following fileformats to CPC:

.PNG, .JPG, .BMP and .GIF

You can create overscan (32k) or normal screen format (16k)

When Paint has opened up you will also find a 2nd window in the background, which is called the "Effect mixer".

This is to be used as image-manipulator (handle contrast, RGB values, brightness etc...)

You can download the app. here:

I tested Paint with 2 images you also converted, but different photo manipulations:

I played with the presets and dithering/gain/brightness/saturation sliders.

BTW.: Next JavaCPC (which has Paint integrated) will also be able to create interlaced pictures (flip screens with some hundred colours)

Watch a slideshow here in WebCPC emulator:

Flipscreen Slideshow

If you see the screens flipping too slow, disable the filter! (I am using a special deinterlace filter which lets the images look smoother and non-flickering!)

For all of you who can't run WebCPC:
