Καλησπέρα σας άπαντες,

Θα ήθελα να γνωστοποιήσω τη λειτουργία ενός wiki αποκλειστικά για τους υπολογιστές CPC της Amstrad, στο cpcwiki.com.

Σκοπός του wiki είναι να αποτελέσει μία πλατφόρμα πιο ανοιχτή από αυτή της Wikipedia, σε ό,τι αφορά στο τί μπορεί και στο τί δεν μπορεί να γραφτεί. Αν έχετε ο,τιδήποτε να συνεισφέρετε, κάντε το!

Επίσης, αν κάποιος έχει εμπειρία με το mediawiki και θα ήθελε να βοηθήσει με τη διαχείριση, ας στείλει ένα email

Χεχε! Ψάχνοντας στο γούγλη έπεσα πάνω σε αυτό. Πρέπει να ήταν το πρώτο μου post και (απ'ό,τι φαίνεται; το πρώτο Post στην ενότητα αυτή...

Έκτοτε το wiki έχει μεγαλώσει φοβερά, κάμποσα γκίγκα πληροφοριών σε 2.400 άρθρα και stubs, και εσχάτως έχουμε μέχρι και δικά μας flames

CPC WIKI - STATUS REPORT

Hello everyone,

Server suffered a HDD failure a few days ago (around 20260611). Through an unfortunate chain of events, the backup server also went down.

Current status: evaluating migration options.
-Try to put everything up as it is on a new server
-Begin a fresh forum based on Discourse, keeping the current forum in read-only mode for archival reasons
-Keep SMF as our ongoing platform, install a new instance and import the db (takes some work, issues solvable)
-Mediawiki MUST be updated to latest version whatever we choose, this will be a project on its own (got to research the upgrade path).

20260617: files were audited, from those that could be saved only a very tiny percentage was corrupted
20260614: all data and files that could be saved were extracted from the server. Database backups (wiki+forum) appear fine.
20260612: server online again, but degraded
