Smile I got my first computer back in 1984, it was a used C64 whose memory I burned some years later after removing a Final Cartridge III without turning off the computer. I never bought an Amiga, just kept buying used C64/C128 1541/71/81 hardware until my basement was full. I also possess all ZZAP!64 magazines and find a sick form of pleasure in htmlizing ancient reviews of ancient games, as can be observed in the relevant section of this site.

...αχ, τι μου θυμίσατε...

Γύρω στο '99, την εποχή που το Lemon64 είχε ακόμα downloads παιχνιδιών (πριν αναγκαστώ να καταφύγω σε άλλα γνωστά FTPs και sites), πολλά απο τα παιχνίδια που κατέβαζα είχαν μέσα στο zipάκι "readme" αρχεία του Δημήτρη που περιείχαν διάφορα σχόλια για το εκάστοτε dump ή upload κλπ, τα οποία readme όμως συνήθως έσβηνα (!), αν και έχουν μείνει καταχωνιασμένα στον σκληρό μου ακόμα κάνα-δύο !! (σε ένα απο αυτά μάλιστα αναγράφεται η διεύθυνσή του, τo email του, κλπ).

Όταν ξεκινάγαμε το project της Gamebase64 το 1998 δεν πιστεύαμε ποτέ ότι θα καταφέρναμενα συγκεντρώναμε τόσα παιχνίδια για τον Commodore 64' date=' ούτε καν ότι υπήρχαν τόσα πολλά παιχνίδια για τον C64 - και να που με την επερχόμενη έκδοση V5 θα περιλαμβάνουμε 20,000 τίτλους. Δεν νομίζω να είχε γραφτεί περισσότερο software για οποιοδήποτε άλλο home micro.[/quote']

GB64 v9 is UP!

The Gamebase team are once again proud to one again update the largest and most accurate C64 game database in existance: Gamebase 64!

This time in it's 9th iteration we drew the line at a whopping 23,000 game titles!!




In addition to another 500+ new games listed, we managed to find and add a lot of notable missing games and their screenshots, as well as update various titles to better versions. All of this alongside more detailed information on more of the games, and the latest HVSC of course.

Pretty much all the things you've come to expect - and then some!
