Xband 2.0

Το πρωτο Xband ηταν ενα δικτυο για τα Genesis και SNES που ξεκινησε το 1994 και επετρεπε το online play και στατιστικα.

Δυστυχως εβαλε λουκετο στα μεσα του 1997 λογω λιγων πελατων και μηδενικης υποστηριξης απο τους developers.

Μια ομαδα προγραμματιστων καταφερε και βρηκε τον server κωδικα (ελπιζω να βρουν και το client source) και φιλοδοξει να δημιουργησει ενα δικτυο για online play/statistics απο PC μεσω χρησης των emulators.

Ηδη υπαρχει η (κλειστη) beta.

Θεωρω πολυ καλη φαση να παιζεις σε games σε emulators και να βλεπεις μεσω leaderboards τι "ψαρια πιανεις".

Υπαρχει εδω και πολλα χρονια το kailera και διαφορες αλλες λυσεις για emulator netplay.

Υπαρχει εδω και πολλα χρονια το kailera που δεν δουλευει θες να πεις. Φαγαμε τα νιατα μας (που λεει ο λογος) με αυτο το dll...

Κατεβαστε beta απο εδω

Team LagunaKrazy has released the newest update of their Xband 2.0 service beta. The biggest change- gaming is now supported! The team has been hard at work ironing out bugs, and I can confirm that the multiplayer matching is working well. This release features Super Mario Kart and NBA Jam gameplay built-in, so no need to worry about retrieving other downloads. Go ahead- grab a gamepad and let's play!
Changes from Beta 2 to Beta 4 (Beta 3 was not released publicly)

-Multiplayer gaming!

-Taunt screen implemented for before the match-see who your opponent is

-Xmail fixes

-Player list fixes

-Taunt and profiles added, player list feature added

Some notes on the release: This is very important. Port forwarding needs to be setup for the matching to work properly. Please head to your router configuration and open port 7845 for TCP and UDP. If you are unsure how to do this, check out the port forwarding guides for instructions on how to do this tailored to your router. The process usually does not take more than a couple minutes.

To configure your game pad controls, open up the Xband/ZSNES folder, and click on ZSNESW.exe. Click the "config" menu, click "Input 1", and configure your controls. Do this before you start Xband, so that your controls are ready before game time.

Κυκλοφορησε η beta 5

Newest version of xband 2 supports a number of bug fixes and issues. New feature includes win/loss stat tracking for NBA JAM TE, SUPER MARIO KART, TETRIS/DR MARIO so far. More titles to be added soon.
Remember to check and see if you have Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 installed and firewall and router port forwarded to port 7845. Also please remember to run the zsnes program to configure your usb control pad before matching up with anyone.
