Θυμάται κανείς λεπτομερειες ;

("Spin Stoooorm" !!!!).

MAGNET POWER - GO GO !! :D

Description Green Baron is an unknown - a release in the I Micronauti line that never made it to the United States. Green Baron's role in the Micronaut hierarchy is also an unknown. He is obviously a baron, but is he good or evil? There is already an evil (presumably) emperor, a king, and another baron, which doesn't leave much room for career advancement. It is possible, due to the fact that the figures are almost identical except for coloring, that Green Baron and King Atlas (or Baron Karza for that matter) are enemies (or cohorts - we can only speculate). The imprint on Green Baron's back date him in 1977, but the instructions say 1978. Except for the shape of his head and his coloration Green Baron looks exactly like Baron Karza. He has magnetic ball & socket joints in his arms, legs, and head, with the traditional rocket pack in back. The knees and elbows are held together by the usual one-degree-of-freedom joint. Green Baron is colored green (imagine that), with black highlights on his chest nubs, chest missiles, rocket pack cones, and sinister-looking eyes.
gbaronback.jpg
Green Baron has a the traditional rocket pack which is green, except for the upper cones, which are black. A single, black missile protrudes from the front of his midsection, which is fired from a lever which is hidden behind his rocket pack. Both of Green Baron's fists fire, activated from triggers on his forearms. Two extra fists are included, which is fortunate since they are easy to lose. Green Baron was released early enough to have the "unsafe," smaller missiles instead of the large rubber-tipped missiles, such as those included with Emperor.
gbaronpack.jpg
Other than his coloring, Green Baron's head is really the only feature that sets him apart from the other Magno-powered Micronauts. He has triangular eye slits, which are black, and an almost fluted helmet crest - reminiscent of the ancient Greece-era helmets. There are some tiny differences, but for all intensive purposes, this is a green version of King Atlas's head.
gbaroncent.jpg
Green Baron can become a centaur with the Pegasus figure by removing his legs and placing his torso in the cavity left by Pegasus's head. King Atlas was distributed in Italy by GiG. Green Baron was also released in Greece as Santana.

Vital Statistics
emperor.jpg

  • Role : Emperor
  • Alignment : Unknown (assumed evil)
  • Height : 16.5 cm
  • Weapons : Chest missile (rubber-tipped, 3 included), firing fists (8 fists included), sword
  • Transportation : Rocket pack, bipedal
  • Special Features : Magno-powered, glow-in-the-dark facial features and fists
  • Accessories : Magno-to-Micronaut joint adapters (2)

Description Emperor's official title is "Il grande imperatore di tutti I Micronauti," which is Italian for "The great Emperor of all Micronauts." Emperor was released in Italy as part of the I Micronauti line by Gig. Emperor looks a lot like his magno powered counterparts, such as Baron Karza, with magnetic ball & socket joints in his arms and legs. The knees and elbows are held together by a typical one-degree-of-freedom joint. Emperor's arms and legs are black, just like Baron Karza, but his body is gold and the highlights that are usually red on Baron Karza (such as those chest nubs) are also black. Emperor also has a gold longsword that fits over his right hand and wrist like a gauntlet. While the sword restricts this to his right hand, both fists do fire from a spring-loaded mechanism near his elbow. Emperor's head isn't made of hard plastic like the other magno-powered Micronauts; it's made of a softer, rubber/vinyl material. Battle-axe-shaped protrusions extend from the head/helmet and there's a sinister grin on Emperor's face. Emperor also has a cape, which is also made of rubber/vinyl and has a hole in it for the head. The magnetically attached head holds the cape in place.

empback.jpg
Emperor comes with eight hands instead of the usual four. One set of four is black, the other set is a yellow-green. Emperor is also equiped with the rocket pack with black cones, as are the top halves of the rockets themselves. The bottom half of each rocket is the same rocket pack that we all know and love. The bottom half of each rocket is also yellow-green as are the universal ball joints that go on the ends of the rockets. Because Emperor was very late in the Micronauts line (and wasn't even really a "Mego Micronaut", he came with three rubber-tipped chest missiles.
empopack.jpg
Although Emperor's yellow-green hands, rocket pack, and facial features seem a little out of place in a Micronaut figure, more along the lines of the garishly colored Interchangeables line, turning out the lights reveals their true purpose - they glow. Place Emperor under a strong light for about a minute and then turn out the lights. You'll see that sinister grin staring back at you. One other point of interest is that Emperor was NOT released by Mego. The box looks exactly the same as any other Mego box, accept it was released by a company called "Lion Rock Limited." Evidently they bought the rights from Mego in the last set of the Micronauts released. There have been reports of two different swords being available for Emperor, one gold, and one clear that allows the hand/fist to glow through it. There are also rumors that a comic book comes with the Italian version of Emperor, though this has not been confirmed.

karza.jpg

  • Role : Leader of the evil Micronauts
  • Alignment : Evil
  • Height : 16.5 cm
  • Weapons : Chest missile (rubber-tipped, 3 included), firing fists (4 fists included)
  • Transportation : Rocket pack, bipedal
  • Special Features : Magno-powered
  • Accessories : Magno-to-Micronaut joint adapters (2)
  • Release Date : 1977

Description Baron Karza is one of the most popular (and fortunately, plentiful) Micronauts. He looks a lot like his magno powered counterparts, with magnetic ball & socket joints in his arms, legs, and head. The knees and elbows are held together by a typical one-degree-of-freedom joint. Baron Karza is colored black, with red highlights on his chest nubs, chest missile, and rocket pack cones. Baron Karza and Force Commander are sworn enemies, which is reflected in their black and white coloring.
karzaback.jpg
Baron Karza has a the traditional rocket pack which is all black, save for the upper cones, which are red. A single, red missile protrudes from the front of his midsection, which is fired from a lever which is nestled behind his rocket pack (there are two spares). Both of Baron Karza's fists fire, activated from triggers on his forearms. Since the fists are easy to lose, two spares were included. Since Baron Karza was one of the first Micronauts, he comes with the "unsafe," smaller missiles instead of the large rubber-tipped missiles, such as those included with Emperor.

Of all the Magno-powered Micronauts, Karza's color scheme is the most sinister. He is all black with blood-red colored chest nubs and missiles.
karzacent.jpg
Baron Karza can become a centaur with the Andromeda figure by removing his legs and placing his torso in the cavity left by Andromeda's head. Baron Karza received his name as an internal joke at Mego. Apparently, one of the staff's name was Azrak, which, when spelled backwards, becomes Karza.

  • Alignment : Good
  • Height : 16.5 cm
  • Weapons : Chest missile (rubber-tipped, 3 included), firing fists (4 fists included)
  • Transportation : Rocket pack, bipedal
  • Special Features : Magno-powered
  • Accessories : Magno-to-Micronaut joint adapters (2)
  • Release Date : 1977

Description After Baron Karza, Force Commander is the most popular (and fortunately, plentiful) Magno-powered Micronaut. Force Commander also battled the Alien Micronauts, as was illustrated in Repto's card artwork.
fcommanderback.jpg
Force Commander has a the traditional rocket pack which is all white, save for the upper cones, which are red. A single, red missile protrudes from the front of his midsection, which is fired from a lever which is nestled behind his rocket pack (there are two spares). Both of Force Commander's fists fire, activated from triggers on his forearms. Since the fists are easy to lose, two spares were included. Since Force Commander was one of the first Micronauts, he comes with the "unsafe," smaller missiles instead of the large rubber-tipped missiles, such as those included with Emperor.

Force Commander is the only Magno-powered Micronaut to have an external life support system built around his helmet. Two air tubes protrude from a mouthpiece, which extend to the upper sides of his head.
fcommandercent.jpg
Force Commander can become a centaur with the Oberon figure by removing his legs and placing his torso in the cavity left by Oberon's head.
fcommanderdiff.jpg
Force Commander helmets varied. One had a rounder head, with a more circular radius on the air tubes, and larger eyes. The other variation, had smaller eyes, a flatter head and more swept back air tubes. There doesn't seem to be any reason for the style change; both helmets have been seen on U.S. releases.

rfalcon.jpg

  • Role : Lieutenant to the Emperor
  • Alignment : Evil
  • Height : 16.5 cm
  • Weapons : Firing fists (4 fists included), sword
  • Transportation : Bipedal, eagle wings
  • Special Features : Magno-powered, transforming
  • Accessories : Magno-to-Micronaut joint adapters (2)
  • Release Date : 1977 / 1978

Description In the Italian instructions that came with Green Baron, et al, Red Falcon is listed as the commander of the red (King Atlas), green (Green Baron), white (Force Commander), and black (Baron Karza) armies as a lieutenant of Emperor. That makes him evil by default, though doubt is shed on the whole arrangement because Force Commander is obviously not evil... Red Falcon shares the same general body type as Baron Karza but his head style is unique to the magno-powered Micronauts. He has magnetic ball & socket joints in his arms, legs, and head, but no rocket pack. The knees and elbows are held together by the usual one-degree-of-freedom joint. Red Falcon is colored red (imagine that), with a gold chest, a yellow helmet, and bluish facial features. Unlike the other magno-figures, Red Falcon actually looks human (or maybe elven because of the pointed ears).
rfalconpack.jpg
Red Falcon eschews the traditional rocket pack for a big sword, just like Emperor's. This sword helps to solidify the idea that Red Falcon is Emperor's lieutenant, as the commander often gives his second his weapon. Both of Red Falcon's fists fire, activated from triggers on his forearms. Two extra fists are included, which is fortunate since they are easy to lose.

Red Falcon differs from the other magno-Micronauts in that he can transform into an bird. Remove the head, and pop the bird torso onto the front. After removing the arms, connect the wings in the magno sockets. Remove the legs and attach the tail of the bird into the leg sockets. Not too much of the original Red Falcon is left after the transformation!

rfalconbird.jpg
Many clones (though to call some of them "clones" is a bit of a stretch) have been made of Red Falcon. Click the following link to see a page on the Red Falcon clones.

  • Role : Steed to Emperor
  • Height : 16.5 cm
  • Weapons : Dual, side-mounted rocket launchers (rubber tipped)
  • Transportation : Quadpedal or four wheels
  • Special Features : Magno-powered
  • Accessories : Wheeled accessory kit
  • Released : 1977 / 1978

Description Megas was released in Italy as part of the I Micronauti line by Gig. The imprint on his body reads 1977, but the instructions are dated 1978. Megas came with the rubber-tipped missiles, the only detractors to this otherwise stunning creature. Even with this imperfection, Megas is probably the best-looking Micronaut horse. Megas looks very much like the other magno-powered horses such as Andromeda, but on closer examination, there are some differences. The most immediate difference is that instead of being all black, Megas has a radiant gold chrome finish on his body, tail, hooves, and mane. Megas is also made of a different material, almost a rubbery plastic with a matte finish, more along the lines of Emperor's head and cape than Andromeda's glossy plastic. Finally, Megas has pre-painted eyes, so no stickers are necessary.

megaswheel.jpg
Megas has accessories to become a wheeled veicle by removing his legs and replacing them with the black-ob-black wheels and hubs. There is a set of larger hubs for the front and smaller hubs with rubber tracks for the rear.
empcent.jpg
Megas can become part of a centaur figure with Emperor. Just remove Megas's head and replace it with Emperor's torso.

Description Andromeda looks very much like the other magno-powered horses such as Megas. Andromeda is a glossy black, with matte-finish gray hooves, mane, tail, and breastplate. Missile launchers connect at Andromeda's midsection with magno joints and add a bit of red color. Andromeda is fully jointed at the knee and body. His neck can also pitch forward, allowing for realistic rearing positions.

Description
lantaurionhead.jpg
Lantaurion looks very much like the other magno-powered horses such as Andromeda, but with a rather obvious difference - the head. Like some bad dream, Lantaurion got a strange looking head. Lantaurion is all red, except for the missile launchers. These missile launchers connect at Lantaurion's midsection with magno joints and add a bit of black color. Lantaurion is fully jointed at the knee and body. His neck can also pitch forward, allowing for realistic rearing positions.

katlascent.jpg
Lantaurion can become part of a centaur figure with King Atlas. Just remove Lantaurion's head and replace it with King Atlas's torso. Lantaurion may have also been released in a "prototype" version. The "prototype's" box front and the quartet of photos on the back show evidence of ever-so-slightly different poses and background lighting. The toy featured on the "prototype" box has thick, splotchy paint on the neck-ring & other parts, and a noticeable gouge in the plastic in it?s chest. Also, the head doesn't fit into the neck-joint well. Lantaurion was also released in Greece as Orion with a much bigger box.

Pegasus looks very much like the other magno-powered horses such as Andromeda, but with a rather obvious difference - the head. Like something out of a bad dream, Pegasus has a strange looking head. Pegasus is all green, except for the missile launchers. These missile launchers connect at Pegasus's midsection with magno joints and add a bit of black color. Pegasus is fully jointed at the knee and body. His neck can also pitch forward, allowing for realistic rearing positions.

Pegasus has accessories to become a wheeled vehicle by removing his legs and replacing them with the black-on-black wheels and black hubs. There is a set of larger hubs for the front and smaller hubs with rubber tracks for the rear.

Pegasus can become part of a centaur figure with Green Baron. Just remove Pegasus's head and replace it with Green Baron's tors
