The PC is limitless in the amount of data you can put on it. The PS3 has about 25GB. But the Xbox 360 roughly has 6 to 8 GB of data. We're hoping we can squeeze the game down to two discs for the 360 version.As an example, Willits says that the game was originally meant to feature "several" wasteland areas. But because they wouldn't all fit on the 360, they had to cut the number of wastelands (on all versions) down to just two.

Ήδη κάποια πολύ γνωστά καταστήματα ηλεκτρονικών ειδών, υιοθέτησαν τις νέες τιμές για το XBox 360 και πλέον το ακριβότερο και πιο πλήρες μοντέλο της σειράς με τον τίτλο Elite "έσπασε" το ψυχολογικό φράγμα των 300?, ενώ οι δύο άλλες εκδόσεις ("arcade" και "premium) είναι πλέον οι πιο φτηνές κονσόλες σε σχέση με τον ανταγωνισμό και τις κονσόλες τελευταίας εσοδείας (πιο φτηνές και από το Wii). Μόνο το PS2 της Sony κρατάει γερά ακόμη τα σκήπτρα και εξαιρετικά καλή εντύπωση για την μακροβιότητα του είναι το γεγονός ότι ακόμη κυκλοφορούν οι νέοι τίτλοι για αυτό.

Με τα λεφτα που πηρα το Elite οταν πρωτοβγηκε ,επαιρνα τρια 360οκονσολια σημερα....... και θα μου μεναν και τα viva pinata να διωχνουν τα περιστερια. :shake:

I don't even know how this would work, but Xbox Evolved says that the next Xbox (720 or Next, whatever) won't just be backward-compatible with games, it'll be forward-compatible. What the hell does that mean? Forward-compatibility would mean that games made for the 360 will be able to take full advantage of the next Xbox's muscle to look more amazing and like that generaation—not just cleaner textures and higher resolutions, but better frame rate, draw distance, the whole deal. Also, it would mean features in the 720's controller would be used in the game as well—in effect, yanking it forward a generation.Xbox Evolved says that Microsoft is “testing the waters” on the next Xbox's final specs, but wants to put this option out to developers sooner, rather than later. The whole thing sounds a bit too good to be true (meaning it probably is), but they say that it's from one of the same sources that told them the Xbox 360 hard drive would be optional long before it was official, as crazy as it sounded at the time.

Αυτο που επρεπε ολες οι εταιρειες να εχουν σκεφτει απο καιρο!!

Ειναι λογικο και επομενο,ο αγοραστης να θελει να παιξει τα παλια του παιχνιδια στην νεα του κονσολα με εμφανεις βελτιωσεις (οχι μονο χαζο-upscale).Μακαρι ολοι να ακολουθησουν το παραδειγμα.

-Και μιας και πιασαμε τα Νεα,το MetalGearSolid 4 ειναι σχεδον σιγουρο πλεον οτι θα ερθει και απο Redmond μερια...o Mr Kojima προφανως jumped in

-Οσοι δεν εχουν σκληρο ή μεγαλη καρτα ωστε να μπορουν να λαβουν το νεο dashboard,μπορουν να παρουν καρτα μνημης με 15 δολαρια και 20αρη σκληρο refurbished με 30 δολαρια κατευθειαν απο την Microsoft.

Δυστυχως το μετρο περιλαμβανει μονο τις επισημα Live χωρες,αρα οχι την Ελλαδα

-To Radiant Silvergun καθως και το νεο shoot'em up απο την Ikaruga team για 360 μπηκαν προσωρινα ψυγειο μιας και η Treasure ριχνει ολο το δυναμικο της στο Sin&Punishment2 για το VirtualConsole μετα την τρελη επιτυχια του πρωτου...

Κυκλοφόρησαν και οι νέες "φουρνιές" 360 με τον κωδικό Jasper.

Σημαντικότερες διαφορές, η ακόμα χαμηλότερη κατανάλωση (το τροφοδοτικό έχει 150W output πλεόν) και η ενσωματωμένη μνήμη 256ΜΒ (οχι εξωτερική καρτούλα) για αποθήκευση στις περιπτώσεις που δεν υπάρχει σκληρός.

Aυτα που λεει ο αποπανω.

Jasper, the next version of the Xbox 360 motherboard, has been leaked and apparently it comes with new unannounced goodies. Apart from the rumored 65nm graphics processing unit—the unit uses a 150W power supply, 25W less than before, which signals a lower consumption most probably caused by the reduced GPU footprint—the new units allegedly come with a new south bridge and, surprise surprise, a 256MB flash memory chip for internal storage.

According to Xbox Scene, the new 256MB chip will allow to install the entire new NXE dashboard without requiring the hard drive or any external flash memory unit. It will also allow you to store XLBA games, save gamesave information, or whatever you want. The rest of the motherboard layout stays the same, except for the RAM memory configuration, which changes from the previous version.

Xbox enjoys biggest sales month ever

European November sales up 124 per cent on 2007; PS3 rises three per cent and Wii 43 per cent

 


Microsoft is beating its chest this morning following the news that the Xbox brand last month enjoyed its biggest ever sales month in its six year history in Europe.

 


Hardware sales for November were up 124 per cent on the same month last year. In contrast, Microsoft claims that European sales of PS3 improved on its 2007 showing by just three per cent, whilst Wii sales climbed 43 per cent.

 


The platform holder had recently claimed to have enjoyed its biggest ever week in Europe, and also claimed to have seen a record breaking Black Friday in the US.

 


“November was a very significant milestone for Xbox – we sold the most consoles ever in our history in Europe, and are outselling PS3 week-on-week across Europe,” the regional VP of Interactive Entertainment Business EMEA at Microsoft Chris Lewis stated.

 


“Since the reduction in the Xbox 360 ERP in September, bringing the entry-level price point for Xbox 360 down to £129.99, consumers have responded enthusiastically to the Xbox 360 offering. Our strong partnerships with retail and with publishers have played a big role in this success – we are working closely with retail to ensure a steady supply of consoles throughout the Christmas season, and third-party games have been selling well on the Xbox 360 platform and providing great choice for consumers.

 


“In the current economic conditions, consumers are more cautious than ever and looking for more value for their entertainment spend. Xbox 360 delivers that value – weʼre now the best-value next-gen console on the market and this positive momentum indicates Xbox 360 is offering the right blend of gaming and entertainment experiences at the right price.”

O Reeves στην ίδια συνέντευξη είπε και το εξής :
