Uncharted 2 is the Game Informer cover story of the month -- and the internet info dump of the day! A condensed version of the preview (credit "MaDogNik96") has been making the rounds across forums telling the story of Nathan Drake's latest adventure to thieve the lost ships of Marco Polo. Well, not the whole story. Not even close.

What we can glean from the secondhand knowledge is a new love interest-slash-sidekick: Chloe Frazer, voiced by Claudia Black (Stargate SG-1) and fond of rocket launchers. And fresh off his stint as the new Prince of Persia, Nolan North returns as the voice of Drake, who's learned a thing or two since the first game. As previously revealed, Naughty Dog is creating new free climbing and stealth gameplay, but we'll also see improved combat; "more dynamic" fights, ditched SixAxis controls, and abilities to move while aiming behind cover and gunning from any stance, reports MaDog. QTEs (think: Drake's Fortune's final boss) will apparently be reworked to give more control to the player, and, in general, characters will interact better with the environments.

On the tech side, there are some ambiguous numbers being thrown around: Did you know Drake's Fortune only used 30 percent of PS3's power? Uncharted 2 promises to tap "nearly 100 percent." No way! Our guess: it's gonna look better and load faster (in fact, there won't be any load screens once you start playing, reportedly). What else? Uh ... a score by Greg Edmonson and an icy train level ... (clearly, we've exhausted this news already).

gt prologue,pes2009,heavenly sword,resistance 1+2,nfs undercover και ridge racer 7....

και έχουν μπει σε λίστα τα re5 και god of war3 όταν με το καλό...

Εγω παντως, αν και εχω καιρο να το παιξω - το επιασα παλι πριν δυο μερες, οσο και να τραβαω αυτη την αλυσιδα μεσα στην σπηλια, η πορτα δεν ανοιγει! Βλακας δεν ειμαι! Δεν νομιζω οτι εχω ξεχασει κατι, (εχω βρει και τους 3 Treasures) και δεν ειμαι και πολυ της υπομονης. Δεν εχω και χρονο να το πολυψαξω. Τι κανω; Δυο οι επιλογες. α) Το παραταω, β) ζηταω την βοηθεια του κοινου!

Φαίνεται μαγικό και το δεύτερο. Βασικά δε χρειάζεται καν να είναι καλύτερο από το πρώτο γιατι το πρώτο ήταν τέλειο.

ps. Κάπου πήρε το μάτι μου και καινούργο trailer...αλλά δε θυμάμαι που...Aardvark!!!!

Καλύτερα συντηρητικοί και στην ώρα τους παρά αισιόδοξοι με συνεχείς καθυστερήσεις όπως οι περισσότεροι...Αλλά και πάλι νωρίς μου φαίνεται εμένα...Για κάτι άλλα παιχνίδια έχουμε δει trailer & screenshots εδώ και 2-3 χρόνια και ακόμα "under construction" είναι...

Εχουν φτιαξει μαι εξαιρετικη μηχανη την οποια θα ξεκινησουν να την κανουν licensed.

Οποτε το Fall 2009 ως στοχος μου φαινεται λογικος απο τη στιγμη που η υποδομη ειναι ετοιμη.

Aν στο Νο1 ο Drake επεφτε στο νερο και τριβατε τα ματια σας να περιμενετε τα ιδια και καλυτερα με τα χιονια.

Building upon amazing water effects from the first game, Naughty Dog takes water to the next level in Uncharted 2, crafting some of the most realistic ice and snow ever seen in a video game.


One of the most striking features of Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, was the way the main character's clothing would actually get wet after trudging through a stream, gradually drying over time. According to Richard Lemarchand, the co-lead designer on Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Naughty Dog isn't keen to rest on their watery laurels, upping the ante with impressive new snow and ice effects in the sequel.









We've spent a lot of time focused on the distinctive look that snow has as it falls and is blown by the wind, and of course on the way in which Drake leaves footprints as he trudges through the snowdrifts in the Himalayan mountains that he ventures to. When he's out in the snow he'll accumulate a layer of snowflakes on his clothes and in his hair, which will slowly thaw when he gets back inside under cover. Ice reflects light in a way that cleverly mimics the sub-surface scattering that goes on inside a chunk of frozen water, and gives it a look of incredible volume and density.
Excellent! I spent several hours running in and out of the first stream you come across in the original game. I look forward to standing out in the snow and then running under cover over and over again in the sequel.
