Τι να πω,δε ξέρω,από τη μία a Termi movie is always a Termi movie κι η αλήθεια είναι ότι χωράει πολλή συνέχεια στην ιστορία,από την άλλη το φοβάμαι πολύ μη ξεχειλώσει άσχημα πλέον...

Πάντως το τυπάκι που έχει επιλεγεί για Kyle Reese,δε μου αρέσει καθόλου !

Linda Hamilton Back As Sarah Connor

Linda Hamilton will be back as Sarah Connor for the upcoming new Terminator Salvation.

Linda will be seen in several flash backs throughout the movie as they attempt to fill in the gaps (or chaos) caused by Terminator 3 and the recent Sarah Connor TV series.

Opening May 22, 2009, the McG-directed sci-fi action-thriller will also star Christian Bale, Sam Worthington, Anton Yelchin, Bryce Dallas Howard, Moon Bloodgood, Common, Jadagrace and Helena Bonham Carter but McG is still being vague about a possible cameo for Arnold Schwarzenegger.

When asked at the recent Comic-Con if Schwarzenegger would “Be Back” with a glint in his eye he said “The T-800 model is indeed a part of the mythology of Terminator.”

Itʼs great news Linda Hamilton will be back as Sarah Connor but expecting the Governator to return to is perhaps expecting a little too much although McG says Arnie has been consulted about plot lines so who knows

"Well... fans. We actually already knew that a new trilogy could be in the works, but as far as the studios are concerned, though the T4 movie has yet to be launched and reviews, a fifth movie is going to go into pre-production, be it talks or actual shooting sometime. Official word is out.


Halcyon Co. toppers Derek Anderson and Victor Kubicek are developing a fifth instalment of the man-vs.-machine franchise. Helmer McG, who directed the upcoming fourth pic, "Terminator Salvation," is working with the Halcyon duo on the latest project.

 


Announcement was among the news that came out of the Dubai Intl. Film Festival, which bowed Dec. 11 and runs through Thursday.


No decision has been made as to where to film the next "Terminator," although the Middle East was mentioned as a locale. When Anderson and Kubicek acquired the rights the lucrative "Terminator" franchise last year from previous owners C2, the former ad exec and banker envisaged the re-booted series as a trilogy.

 


Christian Bale has signed on in the role of John Connor for all three roles. Newest pic is tentatively skedded for a 2011 release.


The duo had originally planned to wait until the release of "Terminator Salvation" next summer before deciding on whether to proceed with the next chapter, but the positive studio, fan and media reaction to footage from the current pic has encouraged them to move forward ahead of schedule.

 


"We feel the time is now to start shaping the next part of this," Kubicek said.


Warner Bros. is handling the domestic release of "Terminator Salvation" with Sony handling the majority of the rest of the world, with the exception of the Middle East where the film is being handled by Dubai-based Gulf Film. No decision has been made yet on whether the fifth "Terminator" will be once again split by Warner Bros. and Sony"

No more speculating.... According to McG, Linda Hamilton will indeed be back to narrate "Terminator Salvation" - if she doesn't turn him down.

The filmmaker tells Sci-Fi Wire that "We're in the business of doing that right now," McG said. "So we'll see what happens. She seems to be very supportive of the film, I look forward to showing it to her in about a week or so." He added: "The tapes that she left for her son to be aware of what it was going to take to win the war, those are the tapes that are going to bring us in and out of the picture."

Robert Patrick (aka the T1000 in Terminator 2) returning for the next Terminator film. Well, not only has McG spoken to the actor about making an appearance, but he appears to already have ideas on how to fit a much-older Patrick into the series.

 


He says, "I talk to Robert Patrick with great regularity. It's interesting – I was [thinking of] a through line. I'll bounce it off of you guys: I like the idea in a prospective next picture that you meet Robert Patrick the way he looks today, and he's a scientist that's working on improving cell replication so we can stay healthier and we can cure juvenile diabetes and all these things that once again sound like good ideas -- and once again live as an idealized expression of ourselves. So imagine seeing a sixty-year-old Robert Patrick and knowing, 'Holy shit! That's gonna be the T-1000 – who comes back perfect, lean and the whole thing.' I haven't concluded that, but Robert and I had dinner the other night and talked about it. I made two movies with Robert Patrick, so I like him very much. And now he's very heavily into motorcycle riding. He's a really serious guy."
